Chicken Fried Toys Legends Of The West Kickstarter
 This past weekend at Joe Con, our very own Paul Mundheim announced his plans for a new action figure kickstarter campaign! Have a look at Chicken Fried Toys - Legends of the West Facebook page, and read on for further details on the Legends of the West line we've been given by Paul to share! You'll also want to stop in Our Forums where we're already talking about the line!
Click on the official images at the end for control art, prototype images, and character names, as well as a brief explanation of the Kickstarter campaign's initial goals and mission statement. We've been contacted by Paul with a number of the stretch goals and other details they'd like to reach if the Kickstarter is successful, and they're ambitious. So read on for some "bullet" (no pun) points for the Legends of the West Kickstarter:
- A Labor Of Love - We Know Paul Has Wanted To Get This Made For Years!
- Kickstarter Hopefully Launches This Fall 2016
- Initial Line-Up of 12 Figures (Pictured Below)
- BossFight Studios Did The Control Art (Below)
- Professional Digital 3-D Sculpting
- Multiple Stretch Goals Planned, Including Accessory Sets And Even A Stage Coach(VERY High Goal)
- Want Swappable At Waist For Mix/Match Customizing
- Working On Blanks/Generic Body/Leg Combinations
- Hats, Gunbelts, & Vests Removable. Chaps & Spurs Not, Due To Bulk
- Exclusives Are A Distinct Possibility
- Female Characters, Native Americans, Horses, Mexican Characters, "Gamblers", & More Are Planned!
- Teaser Figure Sent To Us (Not Pictured) & Shows Line Wants To Be Authentic, Expansive, Diverse, & Detailed!
- Larger Accessories & "Sets" A Distinct Possibility
Paul shared many things with us, some we couldn't divulge at this time obviously, but it's exciting to see the developmental process of a toy line at this stage. It's also exciting to see his dedication and desire to see this come to life. There is so much to it, and so many people who are involved. This is a very ambitious project, with someone who has a passion for the subject beyond Hollywood. These will be as accurate in details (weapons, costumes, etc.) as possible, and it's just fun to see it take shape.
